1. Pick-up service from Amsterdam Airport (Schiphol)
The most convenient way to get to the apartment is to use our Pick-Up service! For 40 euro we can arrange your collect at delivery directly to the apartment. You will be picked up at the meeting point at Schiphol and will be driven to the apartment.
2. Walk from central station:
Take the main entrance/exit out of Amsterdam Central station and walk 10 minutes Directions forwarded after bookings is confirmed.
3. Parking If you travel by car you can park in one of the many car parks around the area, Euro 40 for 24 hours or if you park outside the centre Euro 8 at one of the park and ride places.

Where and how do I get the keys to the apartment?
Your confirmation mail will include the telephone number to contact the greeter/owner upon arrival at the airport or train station. You can arrange a time to meet the contact person at the property, to make payment and get the keys
Check-In time is after: 14:00and Check-Out is 11:00
Please note that some owners have an extra charge for late check in
Can I check in early or where can I leave my luggage until check in time?
Early check-in is only possible if the property is not booked the night before you arrive. You can arrange this with the owner 24-48 hours before your arrival. Some owners charge a small fee for an early check in. If early check in is not possible, there are lockers at central station.

We will send you the booking paper with the confirmation and all the details (address, how to get there, number of your host etc.) Arrival Check in time is (after) 14.00 hours. Upon arrival, your host will be waiting for you to give you the keys (you need to pay 50 euro key deposit that will be returned to you when you leave) and explain how everything works. You will get clean sheets and towels, you do not need to bring them with you.
If you are arriving earlier, check in time can be proposed, if no other guests are leaving the same day. You can always leave your bags stored while waiting to check in.
We charge 20€ for late night arrivals after 20:00h. Neighbors There is always someone living on our boats, so you will have 'real' neighbors and people around you to connect with. Especially during hot summer nights, while enjoying a cold beer when the sun goes down, contact is easily made with neighbors who are doing the same on their decks around you. But, if you prefer to sit on deck in silence, this is not a problem, as 'boat people' really respect each others privacy.Please respect theirs too.
Environment As we are very concerned about the environment, we friendly ask you not to waist electricity nor water. Please switch off the heating/fans/lights when you leave the boat. We want you to be comfortable; there are enough blankets, heaters and fans, but turning up the heaters above 22 degrees is not acceptable and will be charged extra. Cleaning As you will be living in our homes, and not in a hotel, we expect that upon departure you will leave the place as clean and tidy as you found it upon arrival.
If you do not feel like cleaning during your stay, that's OK, but please inform your host the evening before you leave to reserve extra cleaning for 25€ for you. Problems and wishes We love to have people on our boats who enjoy their stay fully.
If something is not working or you have any problems or complaints, please contact us immediately. We will do everything possible to solve the problem. Do not wait till you are already gone, as most things can be realized or changed the way you like it, during your stay.
Payment You have to pay the total sum CASH to your host upon arrival. The key deposit of 50 euro will be returned to you upon departure.
Cancellation
Your credit card is a booking guarantee and will only be charged if you cancel the booking
- 14 days or more before the booking : 30 Euro for administration costs - within 14 days but before 1 week before your arrival :
50% of the price. - within 1 week before arrival: 80 % of the price. - no show: 100% of the price
Of course if the boat that you have canceled gets rented to other guests, we will not charge you anything.
Departure In principle you have to leave the boat at 11:00 h. If you are leaving earlier, please make an appointment with your host who will come to give you your key deposit back.
A late check out is possible if no other guests are arriving the same day. You can always leave your bags stored until departure.
