Give your next trip to Amsterdam omething special with a stay on the Pouwel Jonas, a traditional sailing ship built back in 1897.Ideal for large or small groups and can sleeps up to 30 guests in twelve bedrooms. There are also four bathrooms and four toilets.
Originally built as a freight ship over a hundred years ago back in 1897 the Pouwel Jonas was entirely restored more than hundred years later in 1998 making her a luxurous charter ship which sails eight months a year and then docks in Amsterdam every mid December to mid March.
Docked in Oude Houthaven, near both the city centre and the Central Station, a stay at Pouwel Jonas guarantees you to easily experience Amsterdam city life!
You will immediately feel welcome aboard.

The Pouwel Jonas docks at Oude Houthaven Amsterdam which is not far from the centre of Amsterdam. A few minutes on your bike and you are there.HOW TO GET TO OUR SHIP
Take citybus 48 to Station Sloterdijk in front of Central Station at the Prins Hendrikkade.
Get off after aproximately 5 minutes at the stop Barentszplein, or (the next stop) Van Diemenkade. The Oude Houthaven is located in between these two stops at your right hand.

Where and how do I get the keys to the apartment?
Your confirmation mail will include the telephone number to contact the greeter/owner upon arrival at the airport or train station. You can arrange a time to meet the contact person at the property, to make payment and get the keys

Can I check in early or where can I leave my luggage until check in time?
Early check-in is only possible if the property is not booked the night before you arrive. You can arrange this with the owner 24-48 hours before your arrival. Some owners charge a small fee for an early check in. If early check in is not possible, there are lockers at central station.
