Quite exceptional for Amsterdam, this apartment has it's privat entrance door to the street. The apartment has double-glass windows and is noise-insulated. It lodges up to four persons. The bright living/dining area has large windows, a double sleeper sofa, TV, and a free WIFI Internet connection, dining table and very comfortable chairs. The bedroom at the backside of the apartment looks out onto a quiet courtyard, with the Vondelpark in the near background. The house lies in the highly popular 19th Century Oud-West neighbourhood. It is within easy reach from the airport. The tram to the centre of town, ending/beginning at the Amsterdam Central station, stops in front of the house and operates every few minutes.The apartment is located 100m from the popular Vondelpark. This is the most famous park in the Netherlands, and the largest city park in Amsterdam. It welcomes about 10 million visitors every year. Through the park, it is a 15 minutes walk to the entertainment center 'Leidseplein' for Amsterdam's night life, and to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum and 'Concertgebouw'.
Walking along the Overtoom, one passes antiques shops, restaurants and even a horse manege that in the old days was frequented by he royal family. Just across the road lie all shops you may need: fresh bakery (opens at 03.30h), supermarket (open until 22.00h), night shop (open until 01.00h), butcher, laundromat, restaurants, catering services, money machine, etc. The coffeebar next door serves perfect coffee, healthy fruit juices and tasty nourishing bites.

The bedroom has a kingsize (180cmX200cm) with 2 single duvets, TV, side table and lamp and closet storage. The bed can be converted into two seperate beds. An extra single bed can on request be installed. The bathroom is equipped with a shower / bath. The toilet room lies next to the bathroom. A hairdryer, ironing board and flat iron, are available.Kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with a microwave oven, a standard as well as a Senseo coffee machine, electric water cooker, washing machine, etc. You will find a small supply of coffee, tea, sugar and salt, etc. Everything is available for a few weeks stay.Other information
This non-smoking apartment offers an alternative site for contemplative smoking: the sheltered balcony at the street side of the appartment. This is a nice place to have a wine, while looking out over the ever changing streetlife.A central heating, free WIFI high-speed Internet connection, TV, washing machine.
