Leidseplein – Amsterdam's main entertainment area – is full of restaurants, bars, cafes and nightclubs, and is only 5 minutes walk from the apartment.

EASY ACCESS BY CAR AND PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The apartment is easily accessible by all means of transportation (including boats…).
Those arriving by car may use the public parking facility which is located about 5 minutes walk from the apartment (Q-Park Europa Parking, at Marnixstraat 250 - www.q-park.nl).
From Schiphol Airport the most convenient way to is by taxi : The ride takes 20-25 minutes and costs EUR 35-45 depending on the exact route and the amount of traffic.
Another way, which is much cheaper, would be to take bus number 197 from the exit of the arrival hall in Schiphol Airport to the final bus stop, which is about 3 minutes walk from the apartment. The ride takes 25-35 minutes and the price is about EUR 4 per person.
If you arrive by train to Amsterdam Central Station, you may take tram line number 17 and get off at the stop 'Elandsgracht', and then walk about 100 meters to the apartment.

Where and how do I get the keys to the apartment?
Your confirmation mail will include the telephone number to contact the greeter/owner upon arrival at the airport or train station. You can arrange a time to meet the contact person at the property, to make payment and get the keys
